Ether Web Network, LLC is a locally owned and operated, privately held, Broadband Wireless Internet Service Provider.  Our headquarters are located in the beautiful Livermore wine country and we service the entire "Tri-Valley" region of the East Bay area in California. As a local business we share your concerns and value your input anytime.

We have been in full operation since early 2004 offering proven high speed Internet service
to both business and residential customers. We also offer complete networking and web hosting solutions both at customer sites and remotely managed systems at our data center.

Ether Web Network was founded in 2003 by Livermore resident and wireless expert Jon Schwartz. Jon has neary 20 years experience in the wireless Telecommunications industry working on many Cellular, PCS, and wireless data application projects all over the world.  Jon has been involved in Wireless Internet since it's infancy, and was heavily involved with deploying one of the first real wireless Internet providers - Metricom/Ricochet.  Well respected within the wireless community, Jon designed a solid and scaleable wireless network that now solidly covers the entire Tri-Valley basin and points beyond.

Chris Tate, Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Chris Tate joined Ether Web Network as a partner in early 2006.  Chris was involved with the original deployment of Ether Web Network as the lead of the group providing the original Ether Web backhaul, so his transition into the company was a natural fit. Chris has over 14 years of Information Technology, Internet security, Data Center management and customer service experience.  He holds numerous technology certifications and has been instrumental in the growth and success of some of the finest Tri-Valley Internet Service Providers and technology companies.

Thanks to Ether Web Network, Broadband service is now available to the Tri-Valley area, much of which currently has no access to traditional wired Broadband, and businesses within our service area are saving money now that they have an alternative to costly and slowly deployed wired data technology.
